I am a musician who does not usually do file conversions or CD presses but have to resolve a sound file issue now in order to press a CD of music. My producer sent me 'FULL RESOLUTION AUDIO WAVE FILES', to quote his words. These appear as 'ITUNES DOCUMENTS' but when I try and use Itunes to open them, they do not come up or even register. I use a Mac Mini 10.4.8 and have no know issues with it (dig macs!). I will update Itunes but why isn't it working? And why isn't it labeled a '.WAV' instead of itune 'DOCUMENT'? THANKS IN ADVANCE DANA
Can you tell what the bit depth & sample rate is from the mac equivalent of "Properties"? Maybe ask the producer what these files are? and at the same time, ask him to send you 16/44.1 WAV files instead of iTunes documents!! Good Luck.
