Help needed installing new roms to existing mame emulator

    I keep getting that files not found, takes a long time to load, and duplicate name in a clone column. Need help please.

    yes, Certain games work and certain games don't, all zipped. In my arcade roms list the one's that turn out not to work are a different color and they have an abbreviation of the name of the game in a clone column.

    I had a problem like this but it was the ini file pointing to wrong locations

    (that was with surreal64)

    have you tried to load the ones that dont work on the PC and see if they work period, mame is a little tricky sometimes games will work and sometimes they wont....

    go download the mame emulator for pc and test the roms....
