i have did a factory reset on my starview box as it seems virmin have changed alot of the frequencies. now i know that i now have to turn EMU to on but heres the problem. I have went into parental installation, where i get asked for the password, i enter password but for some reason it wont go to the next screen where EMU is in order to turn it to ON. Keeps prompting me for password but wont bring me to EMU screen? Any ideas chaps and i know i have the correct password.
Just press Menu and enter 1570 direct and Cas System should appear, go down to Key EMU and turn ON, a Factory Reset means just that, for instance if you have changed your PIN number then it will have wiped it out and reverted back to 0000 - if you change your pin and forget it then use 1668 over-riding pin number. If the above does not work then Press Menu, and OK on Parental Control, then enter 2004 press INFO button and enter 2004 again and it will appear, you should really name your model of Starview, 1/2/3/4/etc.
