    HI ALL
hello im a newbie so please be carefull. Right i no a little about certain recievers etc etc i need help deciding which route i go down firstly i use a cable reciever but shortly these will be no good so im getting ready for the next stage .Now the c/s route slighty baffles me (i know we cant talk about it on these forums so i wont) of how to set it up and im aware of scammers who take money and run off i know that most people are using dreamboxes which are very good. Also im aware of the protek range 9600 and the 500(which is a dreambox clone)
been told the most straight forward / easist way is protek plug and play (once certain software is added) but the dreambox has more ways to offer
now is there any other options (other than pay sly or vm) than the two recievers i mention or in anut shell thats it
thanks for reading and your replys will be greatfull
    cheers

hi....dreamboxes and others like starview 6,are ok for cs sharing...dreambox has a slight freezing prob if the server is overloaded...starview 6 is too expensive of as yet...the other decent new box,is the technomate..gd design and you can get one for both cable and sky cs sharing...
iv not had a prob with my sky cs,so cant complain..as for cable cs..cant comment on that.
