i have downlaoded the firmware onto usb penstick and connected to rear of box, but the channels are still scrambled, have i missed something., complete novice at this stuff. goin crazy wondering how to fix this. please help me somebody.
Are you sure Firmware is downloaded (flashed) onto box, it should update automatically. Try this >>>>>>>>>> Make sure that you have only the Firmware on your USB stick and that it is unzipped okay, then plug pen into the back of box and Switch Off and then On and see if it updates itself.
how do i know if its unzipped, do i have to go to the menu page , usb tab??? i dont really have clue abt this stuff.... sorry
1..the latest firmware should be unzipped & should be called flash.tbn 2..copy the flash.tbn file to the usb key 3..plug the usb ket into the rear of the 7000 4..power off the 7000, wait 5sec & power on again. the box will update automaticaly.
