i'm new to this forum and i'm a complete noob at pc's ,i have a sony vaio model pcv-v1/g ,my harddrive went down and i had a new one installed but lost the gigapocket tv feature does anybody know how i can get this back,i'm a complete noob at this sort of thing i have been on the net for 2 weeks loooking and found this forum ,hope someone can help ,watching the wifes soaps is killing me

There are two reasons why you're answer isn't coming 1) Because of the holiday, the next couple of days are going to be rough in all the forums and 2) You started your thread in the wrong forum. Moved it for you. There are 2 ways to get Gigapocket back. You can get it off the System Restore CDs you got with the computer or you can download it from Sony. I've done it both ways. If you restore from the restore CDs Gigapocket will automatically be installed. If you don't want to restore there's a utility for extracting programs from the Sony CDs.
