The idea came to mind when I bought the video card. Before I bought it I was interested in two cards one was the 560 and the other one I believed was either 570 or 580. I asked in the nvidia forums to make sure that the cards would run on my system. One of the replies I received was to get the 560 cause anything higher would cause bottlenecking. It was at that point that I became somewhat paranoid that my system was getting obsolete. At first i was thinking to upgrade the cpu and motherboard but thought if i do that then might as well build a new system. I have had this system for about 5 yrs. That would mean I would have another 1-3 years before switching to a new system.
