I am using WinAVI 8.0 to convert .avi to DVD and Nero 7 Vision Express to burn. However, when adding files to Nero I frequently encounter PAL files that take up an incredible amount of space. I can barely get two 45-50 minute episodes on one disc, versus 5-6 on one disc that are NTSC files. Does anyone know of any way around this problem while converting the files? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Yes, I found that thread too. However, I am hoping someone has a tactic with either program that will compress the PAL format so that I can get at least 3 or 4 files onto one disc instead of just two. When I downloaded the files the majority were in PAL format which takes up way too much space on my disc when I convert them to NTSC so that I can watch them in the US.
