Okay so i got a second hand packard bell ISTART 1379 and I'm looking to upgrade it. The specs are:

Packard Bell BV RC415 MOBO Socket 775
    Intel Celeron D CPU 3.46GHz, L2 Cache 512KB,
    1.536MB DDR2 533MHZ RAM,
    NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS 256MB PCI-E.

Ive have searched google and found that my processor isn't much good. Does anyone know of a good quality processor at a good price that can handle the requirements of todays games?

    Thanks

    Connor

Probably not that would fit that system. The graphics card is not capable of playing modern games either. If you get a throwaway PC for $50, don't expect to play current titles on it. (If you paid a lot more than that, somebody ripped you off)

Well, you want help with what? The Advent 8117 is a laptop, and there's no real way to upgrade those.

If you want a PC with good specs for today's games at a moderate price, I would recommend at least an AMD Phenom II X4 or Intel Core i5 processor, 6 GB RAM, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 440 or AMD Radeon HD 5770 graphics card.

The GTX260's a bit out of date, they haven't sold those for a while!
