HELP PLEASE!!!!

    Hi there hope you can help.I have followed all instructions from the guide but when I play back my dvd I have perfect pic quality but no sound.I have no idea where I am going wrong.Thanx for you time rgds

    What guide? what programs are you using? what media are you burning to? what are your system specs - operating system etc.

    People are unable to assist without you providing sufficient informtion.

    What prograrms are you using? If it is Dvd Shrink, then which files are you removing?

    sory new to this.I used the guide posted on this forum http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm

    ..i.e using tmpgenc then ifo edit and then burning with nero.I am familiar with converting to vcd,svcd and have done so in the past no prob but this is new to me and I am fairy lost...I operste on winxp 512sdram and porcessor amd athlon xo 2000+

    Since you are new to this and you are using TMPGEnc as your MPEG encoder, I would suggest using TMPGEnc DVD Author to author your DVD instead of IFOEdit.

    They are designed to work together and it will be easier to learn one method to start with. You will not need to make separate video and audio files. You can just make a single MPEG file that contains both video and audio. You can play that file and make sure it is working and then use TMPGEnc DVD Author to make menus and chapters. It will even burn the disk for you if you want or you can use Nero.
