I have two problems. 1)When i use nero express 6 to convert an avi file to vcd, the timing of the audio is faster than the video. What is the problem? How do i fix it? 2)I've tried super video converter but i can't convert the avi file into a vcd file directly by setting the output as my cd-rw. But it works if i set the output directory in my harddisk. What is the problem? I would be really greatful if someone could help me out. Thanks.
First, [bold]encode the AVI into MPEG (-1 or -2), first. Don't use directly NERO to make AVI --> (S)VCD. Use it only to make MPEG-1(2) to (S)VCD[/bold]. Second, read http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/129217: on some AVI the conversion makes the sound go out-of-sync. In this case, on http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/129217 there's the solution. I don't know super video converter; TMPGenc is the best. Why should I know another one? But I think that super video converter is more serious than Nero: it makes just the conversion, not the burning. The burning is another issue.
