i have a jap movie cd1.avi cd1.srt i have looked and looked all over the place to solve my problem but no luck what i want to do is join the .srt subtitles back into the movie before i convert it to dvd and watch it on my standalone..anyone know how? thanks very much ps hope i'm in the right forum
there's a proggy called the FilmMachine that converts AVI to DVD and allows you to add subtitle files. I haven't used it yet, but I hear it's pretty good.
dl and install vobsub onto your system. http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=131#comments put the avi and srt file into the same folder. rename the avi and srt file so they have the same name. eg. example.avi and example.srt encode the file using tmpgenc.
