i burned a whole series onto a DVD+RW the series is in .avi format i burned them just as files stored on the disk with the option (MAKE DATA DVD) OK so today i put one of them in and i try playing it and it dont work. so then i tried transfering is off the DATA DVD to the pc and while its transfering a message pops up saying CYCLIN REDUNDENCY CHECK/ERROR (sumthing like that neways) does anyone know if i can fit it????????????????????????????????????
It's possible that another drive (a friends perhaps) could read the disk - as some drives are more efficient than others. perhaps a program like 'isobuster' might work to get the data off too. You could try a holding the disk under running water and with a spot of dish-washing soap and a clean, soft cloth, try cleaning the disk. Moving the cloth from the centre to the outside rim (not making circular movements) then gently wiping down with a soft, dry towel.
i tried the other pc and it says error copying ep 3-6 so i put the dvd in the dvd player and it plays them up to ep 13 because the dvd has .avi format but the pc wont. anyways do you think this ISObuster will drag the files out for me because i really dont wanna DL IT AGAIN
ALSO whats caused it i mean the disk does not have scraches and it aint dirty it was never used just took it out to burned then back in the box
