can someone help me with my 4x dvd-rw which doesnt burn at 4x it only burns at 1x and that sucks, i have updated the firmware already so i dont think its that and i have checked the compatability as well so i cant figure out what could be wrong.

Gotcha, I thought 4x DVD-RW was your drive, not media. What's brand and MID code of your discs? Are your drives set to DMA mode?
