help - power calibration error

hello and gr8 site u guys have ere.

ok ive got AVI2DVD and DVD Decrypter, i have about 50 AVi movies on an external hard drive, ive followed the guide u guys have provide on this site and when i come to burn the movie to DVD with DVD Decrypter it tells me "power calibration error" grrrr ive had this error with other software (DVD shrink) i do have a DVD rewriter and it copies to CD-Rs n CD-RWs fine it just dosnt like recording to DVDs........... what the hell is this "power calibration error"

any help would be greatfully appreciated, Thank you

 

It usually means it's time for a new burner.

 

i could do that myself on a desk top comp easily, how hard is it 2 do ona a laptop?

Try updating your burner firmware or consider another brand of media. Also, if you can, provide a copy of the log so we can have a look.

 

the firmware is upto date ive done that, where do i find the log?

Open DVD Decrypter, and then press L. Copy and paste the complete log here. By the way, what media are you using?
