    Hello.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yesterday my pc (windows xp) started randomly rebooting. Annoying! It has happened during attempted Nero burn, closing browser, opening a directory, and during inactivity. Some of the reboots are not clean - I get the Safe Mode/Last succesful/etc. screen, and from their a problem (suggest run original ROM with "r" at first opportunity) struggle to get a successful reboot.

I suspect I'll have to wipe clean and reinstall, but if anybody has any suggestion that may solve my problem short of that, it may save me some time and effort.

    Thank you.

To me this sounds like a spyware/malware/virus issue. All of which are associated with P2P programs but nonetheless you can get infected other ways. Could you please post a HiJackThis! log?
