I need help removing full screen movie but keep wide screen and menus intact? I have a movie which includes both the full and wide screen versions on the dvd. I am backing it up on a 4.7g disc with Shrink and I don't want to compress it so much. The movie is over 8g obviously because it contains 2 full length versions. I would like to just remove the full length movie and still maintain all other functions of the movie intern there would be little to no compression. If I try and re-author it in Shrink it warns me that the menus will no longer work. How should I go about doing this? Thanks for your time.
that's quite an easy thing to... after you've scanned the dvd with shrink and it tells you what is the main file, in your case you're going to have two you have to check by yourself which one is the full screen and which one is the widescreen, then in the right part of the window under compression settings you have to select replace file by image and voila you're done
Thanks much for that info. It worked perfectly. Now it just shows an image. Works for me. I am watching it now. I never knew you could do that in Shrink. Thanks again.
