My xbox is unmodded. When my hard drive went out, I opened up my system to diagnose the problem. However, in the process, I messed up my disk drive by bending the IDE pins. Is it possible to open up the drive and replace the parallel port? Is it possible to purchase an IDE drive and flash it for compatibility on the xbox? I checked up the prices for replacements on ebay and felt like it would be an ass rape to completely replace the 2 components since the amount totaled up to just $40 below how much I originally paid for it.
