HELP!! Ripped movies goes stretch from side to side when viewed in pc.

    Hi to all, anyone would care enough to share some knowledge and bring some light to my problem.
    I've been able to ripped a movie from one of my dvd collection to vcd with permanent subtitles which the guidlines i also got it here.
    i followed carefully all the steps and even have burned the final cue file (cd image file using nero) to a disk. but to my surprised i can watch it perfectly (full screen) on a stand alone dvd player but to my pc using windows media player the screen looks like two kids had stretch it from side to side. did i specify a wrong aspect ratio or something pls help me out here. I'll be very much gratefull coz im new in this kind of process

    I have the exact same problem but along with mine i dont get any sound. I have used real player and windows media player and none of them seem to work.

    well on my part i got the sound of the entire movie just perfect, i was really looking forward to back up all my dvd into vcd i was just really disappointed i didn't got it the way i really have pictured the outcome will be.

    maybe u have specified the wrong source of the sound try doing it again and i think yoiu will have some selections to go into regarding the sound part. i think it is only named such as sound file 1 and so forth. wish someone can read this thread and help us both in our problems. anyway ty for the responce
