Ok i installed a UnleashX softmod using the 007:Auf exploit. But afterwards i decided to remove it and restore the dashboard. I re run the installer and select "Restore Dashboard" or whatever. (Couldn't understand it.Twas in a different language.) Soon as the process starts screen goes all black and i get a black and green screen saying my Xbox requires service. I then use another 007 exploit to explore my HDD to check what went wrong. Turns out alot of my backups went corrupted. I dont Why it did this but im really pissed off cause of it. I just want my regular M$ Dashboard,and Xbox Live capability. Any pointers where to go from here. BTW is there any files stored in a 007 Auf gamesave you can use to restore the M$ Dashboard??
Anyone ?!?!?? Edit: Ok i think i found out the problem. My dashboard wasnt erased i think all that happened was that my settings_adoc.xip file in the C drive got corrupted. Is there anyplace i can get another retail original settings_adoc.xip file that wasnt modiified??
i doubt it . and if you asked Microsoft they wouldnt help you cuz you modded. i jus say stay away from the softmods that are in different languages.
