    hello,
having some major problems with my computer. i'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to my comp and it's problems but i've managed untill now.
    let me explain....
*****IT also says INETGET2 when i run a search on my compter*****

i have SOME program on my computer, i don't know what its called though apparently it has something to do with downloads and a program called "AUTOIT". it says it's powered by WWW.FreeProd.com. i've been on there and i can't see anything about it.
    I DIdn't download this program!!!!!

I have a screen print of it but i don't know how (if you can on here) to attach it. to give you some idea it looks like a Air walk "A" within a blue circle.

if anyone knows anything about this i can send the screenprint by email.

secondly (yes theres more)**********and i think its a result of the first problem, bcos its only happend since i got that****

i can't get my windows task manager up by pressing CTRL, ALT and DEL.
does anyone know why and if so, how to fix it.

if not can i get it up any other way??///

    thanks for the help

Hi Ravenlife, Welcome to AD. It sounds like you may have downloaded a HIJACKER. Download CWSHREDDED from this link and run it. It may help.. ALso run you antivirus scan and any programs to get rid of Adware or Spyware. Here is the CWSHREDDED link.

    Good luck.

Thanks guys for all the help

it seems to have done the trick. my CTRL ALT DEL works now too so thanks for that.

problem though, i was recomended to download firefox so i did, but for some reason it wont let me get onto the argos website (WWW.argos.co.uk) nor will my IE6. it did yesterday though. could this have something todo with Spy Bot S&D immunizing certain websites??? or any of the other progs i used.

by the way i found 7 viruses altogether that AVG didn't pick up earlier. i've now replaced it with AntiVir. 3 worms 4 trojan horses. so thanks for that

    thanks for any help

sorry to be a pain with this. i said i was a newbie. site's helping me loads so keep up the good work guys.

i had my sister and a friend try the website on there computers they said it worked. also the mozilla.org download page wont load. i tried the site again this morning and it's still not working on mine.

    any ideas.
would it just be easier to reinstall and then start up with my new (working) added protection. i don't really want to though.

    thanks again.

I run Netscape (same outfit) and last night and this morning it wouldn't load my home page. My guess is they are playing around with their system or settings. Give it some time and try again. Possibly upgrading.
