whats up people i need help.I click on the back up,but it doesnt do any thing.I am a newbie i just started messin with the xbox.I got a softmod but i want to put a hardrive in so i can copy.They said that there should be five files there in my c.I only have one and that is pheonix.it would be helpfull if someone could walk me through it.Because i dont know how to copy it to the computer.thanx if you read and please if you dont know what you are doing dont write on this forum. peace
in order to copy files from xbox to computer u need to use a ftp program. u need to connect you xbox to your computer with a router or just plug it into the back of your computer with a crossover cable. use flash fxp as your ftp program. from what i hear putting a new hdd in a softmodded xbox is very hard so get a chip or TSOP before u even attempt that.
Hello, when you executed the BackUp selection command in Evox DashBoard, it will backup all your existing xbox dashboard, evox dashboard, your harddisk eeprom serial keys, Bios and other essential files to start Mod Xbox All these contents will be resided in your C drive - "BACKUP" folder. You can then backup them via FTP method to your PC later on if you need them.
