I have a 720p MKV HD file that I am tryint to get on a SL DVD. I am using TSMUXERGUI and have selected the movie and sound. I have set output to Blueray by following the guides. When I now use imgburn (followed the guides) the imige is 4.7Gb and will not fit on a SL. Can I reduce the file size to fit on a SL or have i got to use DL. If i need DL may start again and get a 1080p file. I was hoping to get the movie onto a SL as sit is the movie only.

Any help would be good I have searched the forums and I see that you can convert a blue ray movie to a DVD 5 but I do not have a blue ray player on my PC, i have downloaded the movie as a 720P MKV file. I have the original in blueray and I want to convert to DVD5 so I can compare the two on by BD player connected to my TV.

    Cheers

    Uncle

You might have to DL meGui to do the down converting of the h264 movie stream and then use tsmuxer to mux it all up again..it's a pretty easy thing actually...

Only possibility, other than re-transcoding or downloading new is to overburn.

Whether it will work: I have never done it. Check
    here.

Do an 'edit>find: overburn' search. The area you are after is talking about 'DVD+R Reserve track' But there may be other relevant settings to consider. All the best.
