Can you help me with unlocking my phone. I have moved out of the USA and my new sim card won't work cause its locked. I have a: Nokia 6010 The IMEI # is: 010495008689655 It was used with Cingular in the USA.

I am in India. I tried the code with a sim card from here in and got "phone restricted" and tried it without any sim card and got "cannot undo restriction" whats all that mean? is it unusable in India anyway? thanks
It means it's hard locked but the phone would never have worked in India anyway. The frequency for India is no good for the US version 6010. The code given was correct and I also stated to remove the sim in the instructions. Too many other wrong codes have been entered and the phone is now only good for the original network it's locked to.
