Help Unlocking Nokia 6080

I was told by local phone shops that this cannot be unlocked?
And judging by the comments here, it seems to be possible.

If someone could please help me get a senior get out of an outrageous contract by his provider (i.e. switch to another GSM provider with the unlocked 6080), he and I will be forever grateful. Heck, SalMal or whoever, email me your Paypal account for your troubles.
