I have used the gt rom loader program before with vista and updated my starview 3 just fine, at firt it wasnt set up on the right port so i went into the device manager and changed this to a different comm port and it worked fine. Now im running windows 7, and trying to update the box, using the same program, but it will not find a port. I have been into the same settings as before and tried with numerous ports but still no luck, is there any other things i can try?
sorry dont know much about windows7 but can you get a loan of a laptop with xp on it prehaps a friend or family member will have 1, hopefully 1 of the other members will come on and sort your problem out with a windows 7 answer,
