Hi, I have put in the xecutor 2.2 lite into the xbox and get the Cromwell screen to come up. My problem is getting it to flash. I was wondering if it has to do with this extra cable that I have. It can plug into the chip and has 2 wires. One screw in wire and another grey one that looks like it needs to be soldered in. The chip I have does not have the jumpers like the tutorials show. I think because it's the 2.2 and those show 2.0 and 2.1. So hopefully someone know where this wire is supposed to go or if that's even my problem. Thx
those 2 extra wires are only if you are useing POGO pins, if you just used the 10 wire harness that came with it then dont worry about them....I have the 2.2 as well. what process are you using to flash it?
Thx for answering first part. I've tried several ways to burn the flash cd(biosflash.iso,bios.bin, etc.) I can get it to say loading after putting disk in for a couple secs, then just says something like cdrom label: new, and does nothing else.
well, what does it exactly say...everything. this stuff is pretty important as far as trying to figure out the problem
I just tried again and it boots up the Cromwell screen ok then says input bios flash update. Then I insert disk and it says Loading. Then it says : CD Rom label New Then it just sits there doing nothing else. I know this doesn't add much from my previous post, but that's all it does.
