Would depend on what version motherboard you have. But the Xecuter 3 CE is a really good one. It can Set LBA48 settings for drives larger than 137gb. The chip can be soldered or installed with a no-solder adapter (though I would recommend soldering it for good connections). The solderless adapter didn't work too well for me on my v1.6 board.

    I ordered mine through xbox-modchips.

They are in Canada and I have ordered my Xecuter 3 CE and my Qoob Pro for Gamecube from them. Great service and have not had any issues with their products.

    Hope this helps.

I agree. Go with the Xecuter 3 CE chip. I have it in my Xbox, and have a 200GB HDD installed. It works great. Totally a good chip to go with.
