Hi guys - I am a newer member here but have been lurking for years. I have this final project I am doing and need to do a presentation. It is for a listening class. I did a research project on cochlear implants. This implant enables deaf people to hear. Basically what I am asking of you the reader of this post is to give me an idea of what movies are out there where I can find a couple minute clip of a deaf person trying to interact with other people. Anything to do with a deaf person I guess. It can be anything. I just need help in finding a clip as I can't recall a movie I have seen with a deaf person in it. Thanks for the help!
One of the most famous would be "Children of a Lesser God". Deaf actress Marlee Matlin won an Oscar for her role. Other than that, how about Mr. Holland's Opus or Major Payne. (Major Payne is more of a comedic take on the condition) Regards, Stitch
