Hi, I am using Nero 9 Wave Editor to convert my old vinyl and tape to digital. I'm using a unit called ADS to connect my RCA inputs from my turntable and tape deck to USB to the computer. Figured out how to record, edit out undesired space and assign track numbers. What's the best quality setting for sample rate and bit depth? Also, when I complete the recording, what's the best way to save the tracks and what format? I've been selecting "Nero AAC Codec". This may seem nuts, but I've been saving the tracks for each project to my desktop then copy/pasting to a folder in "my music" and ultimately to itunes where I can get them to play, but not in order. I'd appreciate any advice on that too. Thanks in advance for your help.

screw nero.. use audacity XD .. why use the usb step?.. that is the long way round.. source your input from the line in on the soundcard.. and record as wav or flac .. you can convert to lossy formats later.
