hi i am a newbie to this dvd recording but i wanted to ask for some help i want to create my .avi 45 min file to a blank 4.7gb dvd i want to make it so i can play it on my tv dvd player which is region free i have tryed once by using winavi and burning using nero vision express but i have no audio i wish to burn the dvd from the .avi file with my subtitle file so i can watch the dvd with subtitles on i had the video_ts folder and 2 .vob files i inserted them into nero vision express and took agesssss to burn onto dvd i am more worried about having my subtitles onto the dvd i am also more concerned about speed rather than quality please could somebody help me i have the following programs tmpegenc plus the film machine dvd shrink avi2dvd nero vso's divx2dvd winavi dvdcrypter please could somebody help me thanks obi-wan79
i have tried various encoders but i keep going back to mainconcept mpeg encoder its easy to use and the results are quite good
