I recently got these Sony miniDVD-RW, you know the ones used for camcorders. I thought of doing a small experiment of putting an .avi format movie onto it and have it run as a DVD movie. I was wondering how would I go about that? FYI: The miniDVD is 1.4GB (1433.6 MB). I've looked at AVI2DVD and ConvertXtoDVD, any thoughts on which one is better? Also, I actually tried my luck with AVI2DVD but unfortunately, when I get to the Output Settings, there is no option for a custom size DVD for "Choose Disk Size." Is there a way I can change that manually? Thanks in advance!
Try DVD Flick. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_flick.cfm Choose 'Project Settings' and the target size. DVD Flick will optionally burn the disk using Imgburn (included in the package).
Ahh thanks! Yes, this is a very simplified DVD authoring program as well. Oh by the way, is there a way to add audio to the Root menu in this program? I'd really like that.
Oh I see that but the Audio I add automatically runs at the Root menu? It doesn't say anywhere where this new audio I add will run..
I'm not clear what you mean. You can change the order of the audio (tracks 1 or 2) in the settings, or from the DVD Menu (if you elect a menu) or from the remote during playback.
