I follwed the "How to convert Avi to Dvd" (http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/avi_to_dvd_avi2dvd.cfm) exactly. I put it in my dvd player and it has a green screen, the audio works fine, but there is just no video. Can someone help me with this problem. Oh, and it is not the dvd player because the screen is still green on my computer. THank you

    eeewwwwwww...... what a result eh???

What was your source file and the encoder you used? (HCEnc??)

If your source file is AVI (DivX or XviD) what codecs have you installed to play these files?

My source file is a korean movie, "Lovers.Concerto.2002.DVDivX-SKY.avi" and the encoder i used was HCENc.

My source file is avi and i use xvid to view them. Divx makes it flip upside down.

But what i am trying to do is have the avi and the .srt files merge, and I believe that is the purpose of the tutorial i read on this website ("How to convert AVI files (DivX, XviD etc.) to DVD with Avi2DVD").

Well you can add srt files as subtitles with Avi2DVD, however i still think a codec is probably your problem, unless u never got this problem with other files?

do u have ffdshow installed?? u cud give it a try. best idea is to use virtualdub just to cut a minute off the file and see if u cna encode that 1 minute without the problems after u install ffdshow
