bin and cue files are images that are burnt to CD-R.

In most cases if these are video files they are in VCD or SVCD format. Most Home DVD Players will play VCD and SVCD disc. But you will need to check with your Home DVD player documentation to see if VCD/SVCD is compatible with your player.

You would burn these just like you would burn an ISO file. But choose the CUE file. That will then load the BIN file up to be burnt to CD. Make sure you have a CD-R in your burner to burn to.

As to AVI (DivX/Xvid) and Windows Media Files you will need to convert them to DVD compliant files (That is if the Windows Media Files are not copy protected). Some DVD Home Players are compatible with these as well but most are not (check with your Home DVD player documentation to see if they are compatible).

If your Home DVD player is compatible with Windows Media Files then you can burn them as a data disc.

If they are not and you need to convert them to DVD Compliant files then use 1 of the guides below to do this.
