hey guys jsut joined first post srry if its in the wrong spot, anyway iv just noticed some of my movies that iv burned in the past are all fuzzy and pixelized you know like as if it were a bad shrink ( i use dvd shrink 3.2 for shrinking dual layers) and i tried to watch "1408" and this happens for a few of my newer movie once it gets about 40-50 mins in it begins to skip kind of get a little pixelized and gets worse from there on in and then will stop or get to pixelized to play anymore but if you watch the movie on the computer its fine i tried burning at 4X (originally it was at 16-20X) and still nothing and i dont think its the dvd player cause if you play a normal movie thats not burnt it plays fine and some other older movies a few years old play fine idk wat to do really this is how i rip my movies 1. i use RipitForMe 1.6.4 in wizard mode then i use VobBlanker 2.1.2 and keep the settings at normal from the install because i dont know really what they are so there defualt then i use dvdshrink and shrink i use either convertXtoDVD 2.2.3.258 for burning my dvds or sometimes nero either essentials or express i forget, i tried reripping 1408 and it works fine and then i tried burning it again to c if it was the burn and still the same the burn to the eye looks fine no gaps no scratches nothing idk wat to do but yah if someone could help with my problem i would really appreciate it thanks guys!

Forget ConvertxToDVD for burning, it has no place. You use it to convert from AVI/mpeg, whatever to DVD. Get ImgBurn to do the burns, or use Nero. Drop Ripit4me, is not being updated anymore.Get DVDFab HD Decrypter.Additionally, you can also use VobBlanker like you have been.

AnyDVD is another choice for decrypting, but you don't need to shed the money, the free stuff works.

What discs are you using? I bet they are some crappy dye...Is your burner's firmware up to date? Keep the burn speed @X8.
Here is a guide that tells it all.

Friend, you are not well informed!!!Memorex are notorious for selling poor quality media(those made by CMC.Magnetics).

Make sure that your burner has the latest firmware.
Load the discs in ImgBurn/DVD Decrypter or Nero CD-DVD Speed and see what media code are they. If they are Ricohjpn, they are decent. If they are CMC.Mag, get a shotgun and use them instead of clay-pigeons.

Any disc, blank or burned. It will display the MID.
Buy some Verbatim discs instead, ot Taiyo Yuden if shopping online.

That looks like the code for Mitsubishi Chemicals. Same dye used by Verbatim discs. The MCC dye is good-if is authentic. There are plenty of pirateed discs out there.
You said those are Memorex discs? Whre are you situated and what store did you buy those discs from?

Just make sure your burner's firmware is up to date.

Buy the movie if you want it. Copying rentals is illegal.

Check and make sure your DMA is still on for your drives.
