Hello All. I seem to be running into this problem more often, Ive been trying to back up some of my music CD'S. I've tried to use Nero to copy disk to disk on the fly, get to about 80% then it freezes. I've also tryed uploading the files to the HD using window media player then burning it to blank media. But I get tracks that jump. I think this may have something to do with the copyright. anyone have any suggs. Would be app.

I have had the same problem when using 'copy entire disk' in Nero. I've had to rip (I use windowns media player 9) tracks to the windows format, create a burn list of the tracks I want to burn then burn. The burnt copy then plays on all commercial CD and DVD players no worries. This way also gives you the choice of burning to MP3. I hope this is useful.

I have been getting around the copyright protection by using AnyDVD, the disk is just seen as unprotected and I burn it just like any other CD. Also CloneCD will do the same thing. Both are available as trial for 21 days.
