Hi i just got the following games from GAME.. *Star Wars Republic Commander *Rouge Squadron *Far Cry How do i get them to play without the disks?
Providing they were ripped with Alcohol using the right CD protection when riping then all you have to do is mount the images with daemon. However, more current games have software detection that detects emulation. This just requires another program to run in the background (depending on what protection the game uses) to hide the emulation. Farcry is the only game I have out of your list and that one works great mounted without any extra software needed.
Re reading your post I missed that you downloaded them from a sight. I do not know how to get them to play you should contact the sight.
You should use protection id v 5.1 to see what protection the games have. After that you can rip them using alcohol set on the proper protection for ripping.

Thankyou Ky I have found out that it uses Securom protection so i try to create an image and i select Securom datatype and it fails at 96%!! Am i doing something wrong! if so what!!??
I am having the same problem i have noticed that disk 2 has no protection if that is any help but i also keep getting errors at around 95%
Only disk 1 should have the protection or which ever disk is the play disk. The other disk you should be able to burn fine as custom setting.
I just bought Heros of Might and Magic V, I used Protector ID v 5.1 and it found that SecuROM version 7.21 was stopping me from using the image. When I tried to mount the image with DAemon, a little box pops up saying the game cannot be played from an image. How do I get past this? I used ALchohol 120 to burn the image. I burned the image from all three securom options under the custiomization. What can I do to play off the image? Thanks for any help
I wish I could help but I have no desir to even try to back up the game. It crashes on me after about three minutes of playing it even after the latest patch. Pisses me off. $50 for something that I can't play yet. Angehl, do you have any of these issues?
I can't even get my game to run (Heros V). I don't even know what crack to seek for helping with this. Nothing I've seen gets past the Securom 7.21 copy right. I'm getting kinda annoyed with trying to figure this out, already downloaded one virus in my search and dont look forward to doing that again.
