I have a Dell Inspiron e1505 and everytime sound comes out of my speakers, it crackles. Whether its the starting up sound, youtube, itunes, anything. It just breaks and skips and it sucks! It seems like the more programs I have up and running, the worse it gets. How do I fix this? Thanks for your time

Maybe you blew out your speakers or damaged your audio by playing too loud. I would try to isolate the problem, how does it sound with ear buds?

Make sure the system 'thinks' the sound card is working properly in Control pannel/system/hardware. Then I would buy a new sound card.
