My wife and I are trying to make an opening to a video that looks like the starwars scroll text, and I cant seem to find it on this software but its on the windows movie maker software, that cant be right? Its on the free stuff, but not the stuff that casts 100 bucks? Does anyone know if I can import that function to EMC 7.5 or even convert a video thats from Windows movie maker to something i can use on EMC 7.5? Oh, and is there a site you could get extra effects down loads like that starwars scrolling text at the start of the movies? Theres got to be a way to get that effect with EMC 7.5.

If its on Windows, have you tried using that program to do exactly what you wanted, then using Roxio to add it to the beginning of your project? I don't have 7.5 (used 7.0 for a while then figured out most of the burning problems was because it doesn't work well with various drivers and programs. Have used Nero for about 8 months, no problems.) I'd hope Roxio still will burn wmv. files

Brombones. Post your question in the Roxio 7.5 forums. I have that version, and VideoWave does have the scrolling text. It is named Credit Roll.

@Deadrum33: Nero is good for what most folks want to do with burning from DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter. For home video editing, it is extremely limited in what it can do. It is at the low end of entry level.

@Grandpa --- you may very well be right and found a program that works best for you. All I need to do with most home video is change the menu screen and make sure my files (already edited with windows) are in the right order, so I can't beat others experience in that department. Not knocking Roxio, just helping with a work-around and expressing what has worked for me.

The reason that I answered him is, because I use the Roxio software and have done exactly what he wants to do. He is better off posting at Roxio's site.
