Hi guys, thanks for taking the time to read my post.

My problem is I have just bought myself a full legit copy of BF2, the installation went fine, though when I go to start the game it gives me the following message "CD/DVD emulation detected, disable all emulation software before continuing"

I had thought the only emulation I had was Daemon Tools, so I disabled that and still get the same message. A while back I installed StarFuck to try bypass StarForce protection on another game. Could this still be haunting my system? How can I check to see what emulation is installed & causing my problem on my rig?

Thanks for any feedback guys, I just want to hit the Battlefield!

    Regards, Xplosiv.

I fixed it by uninstalling CloneCD, after reading some threads @ www.planetbattlefield.com. Hope this helps somebody else in the future. Now back to 1942/DC (BF2 isn't all that IMO)
