help with error 5

    I bought this xbox from some guy on ebay figuring I could fix it without a mod chip but I didnt realize that he was sending me a hdd that was unlocked... so now I have a hdd ready to go but I dont have the eeprom code to lock the hdd, any ideas on how to lock it without a mod chip?

    nope you need a modchip.....lol unless you have an eeprom reader.
