ok here's the deal, i'm at my friends house right now and last nite i chatted with my gf and she had sent me some pics, a few nudes ones, so i didnt want me friend seeing them so i downloaded a history eraser thing, but i aciddently erased his internet history along with the recently veiwed documents, and i was wondering if theres a program to help me get back his history files? or possibly some way to do it manually?
XP? A system restore to a point before you did this should do it. Actually the history will clean itself after a set amount of time so I would not worry about it. I clean all my history and usage temp files everyday
i tried a symstem restore, i restored it to the 27th but still no history, does deleting your history files help ur comp run a little bit faster, cause if so i'll just lie and say i cleaned the history cuase it was going slow. also is the a way to delete a restore point, cause on the system restore thing it says that i installed cleanallhistory, then removed it
Just go into system/ restore and turn them off then turn them back on and you will have a single new point. My advise.... just leave it alone and forget it. No damage was done. All the old points will go away over the next few weeks depending on what size the restore function disk space was allowed.
