help with games too big for one dvd, not a usual question

does anyone know if/how you can just rip a game to you xbox hd, ftp the files to a pc, burn them on two separate discs, just for a backup(non playing), and then if something goes wrong with the one on the xbox, copy the files from the discs and ftp them back over? I really don't care to have a working disc, I just want the data backed up in a way that I can use it later. Any help would be awesome, thanks

 

sure, you can use nero to copy the files onto the dvd only.
