When backing up my DVD's using Img Burn to either a HP lightscribe DVD+R 16x(CMC MAG-MO1-0) or Verbatin lightscribe DVD+R I get a lot of Interpretation Write Sector Error and Interpretation Unknown Vendor Unique Error messages and end up throwing away a lot of discs. In reading the threads on this site, which are extremely helfull to us less computer savy people, that these error messages are becasue of the quality of the discs. What lightscribe discs should I use to avoid discarding so many of them? Any assistance and sdvise would be appreciated Thanks John
Here is an existing thread that addresses part of you question: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/618135 CMC MAGs are crap, waste of your time but you are also using Verbatim which is recommended. What speed are you burning at? Rule of thumb is half the disk rated speed.
