Ok, I had to use another computer to ask this question so... I have currently a Aspire Acer 5100 Notebook. I know this may sound wierd but I have little anger problems. And I hit my computer with my fists hard on the left and right hand side of the mouse pad. I also lift the labtop a little and droped it. Yea crazy, as you can tell I was pretty mad. Okay but the next time on reboot, the computer was very very very slow. The busy button icon would have the light on always and not blinking which it is suppose to. I checked the CPU and it was only 17-35%. I cant even do anything no more, I cant even go click programs. I even tried to restart my computer, but then start-up programs(hardware, audio, etc.) would not install properly. It would give an error code. I tried disk scan, but it would take at least 6 hours to check free space and will only be 8%. Why did my computer get so slow. I had 79% Free space of a 50.0gb (C: drive) and 35% (D: drive) Can some one help me please!
Hard disks are very sensitive to G-force shock damage. You may have broken your hard disk drive in your rage. Have the thing repaired, and try not to take your rage out on the PC next time.
