I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with 1 GB ram 2.6 ghz duo core and an ati graphics card...but still my computer lags when i try to play little crappy games. Any ideas why?? i have Windows Vista and high speed internet too.
I recommend running some scans on your computer (registry, adware, spyware, etc) That can be the cause of a slow computer.
what ati graphics card do you have? are you using the generic windows drivers? It's all about the graphic card drivers. When I had a similar problem on Vista with my ATI 9600 XT video card, it took me a while to find the right drivers that worked. You have enough ram and a high-end processor, that only leaves the video card or video card drivers as your problem.
