Hello stuncrazy, two things: 1. That's not the entire HijackThis log file. The numbers should atleast go to "020". Please run a new scan and post the full log. 2. I see a process running that [bold]could[/bold] possibly be a Remote Access Trojan(RAT). Or it could be a system file. RAT's are very serious and very nasty! They can allow remote access to any part of your computer. Which means anything or everything can be changed and you not know about it. We need to make sure this is or isn't a RAT before we do anything! Show all files. Open My Computer. Select the View menu and then click Options. Check "Show all Files". Click OK. This is the file to look for: C:\WINDOWS\System32\[bold]conime.exe[/bold] Right click the file and select Properties. Click the Version tab. If it is not digitally signed by Microsoft it is bad! Please post back with a new full log and tell me if the file is Copywrote by Micorsoft.

Sorry, I didn't mean digitally signed, I was thinking ActiveX. Big relief to hear it is Microsoft's conime. Go here and follow instructions for [bold]PROCEDURE 4[/bold] to remove NewDotNet. Then, run a scan only with HijackThis, check these(if there): [bold]R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - ~CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {016235BE-59D4-4CEB-ADD5-E2378282A1D9} - C:\Program Files\Aprps\cxtpls.dll (file missing) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {d869742a-e5d2-4624-96c7-aae26170665e} - C:\Program Files\MMediaCodec\isaddon.dll (file missing) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Sbjccsb] C:\Program Files\Bztcot\Fbmm.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [77sV3sR] sdhcap32.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [New.net Startup] rundll32 C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL,ClientStartup -s [/bold] Close all windows except HijackThis then click "Fix checked". Restart your computer in safe mode(press F8 upon boot, select "Safe Mode" from menu and press Enter). Find and delete these folders: C:\Program Files\[bold]Bztcot[/bold] C:\Program Files\[bold]NewDotNet[/bold] Click Start > Search. Search for this file and delete if found. [bold]sdhcap32.exe[/bold] Empty the Recycle Bin. Restart in normal mode. Go here and download CCleaner. Close all windows. Open CCleaner. Click "Run Cleaner". Then, go here and run Kaspersky Online Scanner. Accept the terms. After downloading, click "My Computer". After scanning, click "Save report as". Save as a text file. Post back with a new HijackThis log and the Kaspersky log.
