Hey guys, I'm relatively new to the forums and would really appreciate any help you could give me. I've had my R4 for about 4 months now and it's worked great. However lately when I've added new ROMs I keep getting the same error. When I try to play Phantom Hourglass it says "Data could not be read. Turn the power off and reinsert the Game Card." The funny thing is that the game does load at first, I see the Nintendo copyright screen and then it just suddenly turns to this "Data could not be read" screen. I've had the same problem with a couple other ROMs, they all start up and then seem to have an in-game error.

I recently switched computers (both running XP), and I'm pretty sure that this problem started happening once I tried adding new ROMs on the new computer. It's important to note that all the old ROMs I had added previously still work on the R4, just not the new ones. Could it be a formatting problem? I'm not much of a whiz with Windows machines, so any help you could give me with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Okay, just read another thread detailing the exact same problem, supposedly a firmware issue. Sorry to bring a resolved issue up again. I'm downloading the new firmware from the R4 site (it's taking forever though, 1.4 kbs . . .) Anyway, thanks to all those who already answered this problem.
