Hi, Just looking for a little help. Every time i download a rar file ie a game or film and try to extract it, it says the file is broken, i've tried using winrar and winzip and still have the same problem. Any ideas what it could be?
The answer is obvious, the file is "broken".It is possible the damage(incomplete download, corruption) occurs at your end while downloading, or it happened during upload. Are you using any download manager?
Yes im using Flashget 3. It is definetely at my end because i've tried several sources and none of them have worked.
hi mate i cant say where your problem is(cypusrom would no better than me)but i just wanted to say i use a program called peazip it opens all rar and zip files and more i have never had a problem with it it ,its worth a try and its free via google.i hope you sort out your problem mate.good luck.
What browser do you use? I use Firefox and its own download manager, have no problems at all(although the speed might be faster with others).Just use you browser without FlashGet, this way will tell you if the D-Manager is the issue. A good free downloader that I see recommended is JDownloader. http://jdownloader.org/
