I hope someone can help me out here - I have an all original xbox console with no mods whatsoever done to it - it has a lot of music that was somehow installed onto the hard drive and the previous owner wants to get the music back - I dont know what to do, where to go or how to do anything like this at all

I hope to be hearing from someone soon with hopefully a good answer on how to accomplish this problem - I have a dsl modem with ethernet ports and a computer attached to the modem via ethernet - I have a laptop that is connected to dsl modem via wireless - I noticed there is an ethernet cable port on the rear of the box and I hope this will help me out - I am fairly tech-ish with my PCs but I am out of my realm when it comes to doing anything more than plug and play with the console

just softmod your xbox, then copy the music over via ftp.

as long as it is stock, you will not be getting the music off with the stuff you have. you cannot ftp into an original xbox, you need to softmod it first.
